Growing tomatoes in the greenhouse
We do our best to be as environmentally friendly as possible whilst running our business. When we started we were entirely solar and wood powered but we found that we needed a more reliable method of heating water than the British sun! We now use a small generator to heat water but turn it off when we have enough and keep the water hot in huge vacuum flasks.
We souce our wood locally and responsibly
Where possible we source our food locally and make sure to minimize waste and recycle our rubbish. We grow a lot of our own vegetables and our wood is responsibly sourced from a local supplier.
Our homegrown herbs
We are members of The National Catering Association and if you search the NCASS website under our name you will find us. All staff are trained in food hygiene, and we have all necessary insurance cover to operate safely within the law. We are happy to send you copies of our certificates and risk assessment documentation on request.
